1. Organiser
This raffle is organised by the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation (“the Organiser”), a non‑profit organisation, for fundraising purposes.
2. Purpose of the Raffle
The raffle is conducted to raise funds in support of the programmes, projects, and operational activities of the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation.
3. Eligibility
- The raffle is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
- Employees, board members, trustees, or individuals directly involved in the administration or operation of this raffle are not eligible to participate.
- Proof of age and identity may be required to claim the prize.
4. Ticket Price, Entry Limits & Sales
- Tickets are sold at R50 (fifty rand) per ticket.
- A maximum of two (2) tickets per person may be purchased.
- Any entries exceeding this limit may be voided at the Organiser’s discretion.
- A total of 500 tickets will be issued for this raffle.
- Tickets are sold on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
5. Closing of Entries & Draw Trigger
- The raffle will close automatically once all 500 tickets have been sold.
- No late entries will be accepted once ticket sales have closed.
- The draw will occur as soon as practicable after all tickets are sold.
6. Prize
- The prize is one (1) MacBook Neo, with an estimated retail value of R12 000.
- The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
- No alternative prizes or substitutions will be offered.
7. Draw Method (Automated System)
- The winner will be selected using an automated electronic draw system that randomly selects one valid ticket from all eligible entries.
- The draw process is fully automated, impartial, and free from manual intervention.
- The Organiser’s determination of the winner is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
8. Winner Notification
- The winner will be contacted via the contact details provided at the time of ticket purchase.
- The Organiser is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or outdated contact information supplied by participants.
- If the winner cannot be reached within 7 (seven) days, the Organiser reserves the right to conduct a redraw using the same automated system.
9. Prize Collection or Delivery
- Collection or delivery arrangements will be agreed upon directly with the winner.
- Delivery within South Africa may be arranged by the Organiser.
- Risk in the prize passes to the winner once the prize has been handed over or delivered.
10. Use of Funds
All net proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the charitable objectives, programmes, and initiatives of the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation.
11. Refunds & Cancellations
- Raffle tickets are non‑refundable once purchased.
- In the unlikely event that the raffle cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control, reasonable steps will be taken to address the situation fairly.
12. Technical Issues
- The Organiser shall not be held liable for any technical malfunction, system failure, payment processing delay, or connectivity issue that may affect ticket purchase, entry recording, or communication.
- Only entries successfully recorded in the system will be eligible for the draw.
13. Publicity & Marketing
- By entering the raffle, participants consent to the Organiser using the winner’s name and/or photograph for promotional or publicity purposes related to the raffle, without additional compensation.
14. Data Protection & Privacy (POPIA)
- Personal information collected for the purpose of this raffle will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Personal data will be used solely for:
- administering the raffle
- contacting the winner
- compliance and record‑keeping
- Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.
15. Limitation of Liability
- The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense suffered as a result of participation in the raffle or acceptance/use of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
- The Organiser makes no warranties regarding the prize beyond those provided by the manufacturer.
16. Force Majeure
The Organiser shall not be liable for any delay, suspension, or cancellation of the raffle caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, system failures, regulatory changes, or acts of government.
17. Amendments
The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary, provided that such amendments do not materially disadvantage participants.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a raffle ticket, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
