Tackle Tomorrow Foundation – Online Fundraising Raffle

1. Organiser

Tackle Tomorrow Foundation
A registered non-profit organisation operating in South Africa.

2. Nature of the Raffle

This raffle is a fundraising initiative supporting youth development and community programmes. By purchasing a ticket, participants are entered into a random draw and accept these Terms & Conditions.

3. Eligibility

  • Participants must be 18 years or older
  • Participants must reside in South Africa unless otherwise stated
  • Employees and immediate family of the organiser may not enter

4. Ticket Purchase & Entry

Tickets are sold online via the official website. Each ticket equals one entry into the raffle.

Participants will receive a unique ticket number via email confirmation.

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by law.

5. Prize

The prize is described on the raffle product page. The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

The organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Raffle Period

The raffle opens and closes on the dates specified on the product page. No entries will be accepted after the closing date.

7. Draw Process

The winner will be selected via an automated random draw system using either cryptographically secure methods or an independent third-party provider such as Random.org.

The draw will occur automatically at the end of the raffle period or at a specified time.

The result of the draw is final and binding.

For transparency, the organiser may publish the total number of entries and the winning ticket number.

8. Winner Notification

The winner will be notified via email or phone within 7 days of the draw.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, an alternative winner may be selected.

9. Claiming the Prize

The winner must provide valid identification and claim the prize within 14 days.

Failure to claim within this period may result in forfeiture.

10. Use of Proceeds

All funds raised will be used to support the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation and its community initiatives.

A portion of proceeds may be allocated to partner organisations participating in the fundraising programme.

11. Partner & Referral Programme

Referral codes may be issued to organisations and individuals.

Sales generated through these codes may be attributed to the relevant partner.

Partners may receive a share of proceeds based on participation.

The organiser reserves the right to suspend or remove partners in cases of misuse or fraud.

12. Fraud & Disqualification

The organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries or cancel tickets where fraud, abuse, or manipulation is suspected.

13. Limitation of Liability

The organiser is not responsible for technical issues, payment failures, or communication delays.

Participation is at the entrant’s own risk.

14. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)

Personal information is collected solely for raffle administration and communication purposes.

By entering, participants consent to the processing of their personal data.

Participants may request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time.

Personal information will not be shared except where required by law or for operational purposes.

Marketing communication will only occur with explicit consent.

15. Legal Compliance

This raffle is conducted in accordance with applicable South African laws, including the Lotteries Act 57 of 1997 and relevant regulatory frameworks.

16. Legal Status of the Raffle

This raffle is conducted as a charitable fundraising initiative by a non-profit organisation.

The organiser will take reasonable steps to comply with all applicable legal requirements.

Participation acknowledges that the raffle supports charitable purposes and is not conducted for private commercial gain.

17. Transparency and Record Keeping

The organiser maintains full records of ticket sales, entries, draw results, and prize allocation.

Records will be retained for a minimum of three (3) years.

Results and records may be made available to relevant authorities upon request.

18. Independent Draw Oversight

The draw may be verified by an independent system or observer.

Third-party randomness services may be used to ensure fairness and transparency.

19. Use of Funds and Non-Profit Purpose

All proceeds, after costs and prize allocation, will be used solely for charitable and community purposes.

No proceeds will be used for private gain.

20. Consumer Protection Compliance

The organiser will not mislead participants or misrepresent prizes.

Winners will not be required to make additional payments to claim prizes.

21. Regulatory Compliance Disclaimer

The organiser undertakes to comply with applicable regulatory requirements in good faith.

Participation is voluntary and subject to applicable legal frameworks.

22. General

The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or cancel the raffle if necessary.

All decisions made by the organiser are final.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
